Al Nova vs Focus

Issues?

A focused headache

(Ethan Evans exits the ring being frustrated with his loss. As he proceeds down to the dungeon on the other side coming out of it is Reynard Abel. He is at a dead sprint. He rushes around the ring as fans chatter at his appearance. Ethan does not turn around. Reynard runs around to him and quickly spins him around and tosses him head first into the turnbuckle. Ethans head cracks against it. And he falls to the sanded floor. Reynard simply just stands over the lifeless Ethan smirking at his work.)

James Lars: I think we need the paramedic down here! Ethan just got his clock cleaned by Reynard!

Jennifer Lars: He's going to have a huge headache when he comes around!

James Lars: I don't know how this happened or what it is about Ethan Evans, but he's got two men now that are out to get him. First Al Nova and now Reynard Abel. Chaotic! I love it!

(The paramedic that Lars hired from Las Vegas comes out of the dungeon to attend to Ethan. Reynard heads back down still admiring his handiwork. Then there is a buzz in the P.A. system. As Johnny Evil was just thinking it was safe to leave the ring, he pauses.)

"Hey Johnny! I'm heeeeeeerrrreeeee!)

(Johnny Evil looks around but doesn't see anyone.)

"Up here Evil!"

(Johnny looks up at the rafters but still doesn't see anyone. He looks up in the balcony with the fans as one of the spotlights searches the area for him and finally the spotlight and Evil find just who it was talking to him. Focus.)

"Mr. Face-of-the-company! Bullshit. You see, you can walk around claiming to be the man, claiming to be the first ever Chaos Champion. The fact of the matter is, you are oblivious to everything that surrounds you. You are so focused on what's at the end of the tunnel that everything outside the tunnel is taking advantage of it."

Johnny Evil: What are you talking about?

Focus: Haha, see for yourself.

(The lights go off and a screen lowers over the ring. Evil leans against the ropes looking up at it. A video comes up of a dark room with a shadowy figure tied up to a chair. The figure appears to be of a woman. The moaning of her voice tells us that she is gaged. She squirms trying to get free. The sight of this enrages Evil.)

Johnny Evil: What did you do!? Let her go!

(He looks up to the rafters to where Focus was, but he is gone. Johnny Evil is irrate as he quickly leaves the ring and runs down into the dungeon.)

Jennifer Lars: Oh my god.... I'm speechless. Was that Dahlia?

James Lars: I don't know. Based off of Johnny's reaction to that video I'm guessing it is, it was so hard to tell though.

Jennifer Lars: What is Focus doing? What's the reasoning behind this?

James Lars: I don't know. But again, CHAOS! I LOVE IT!

Jennifer Lars: Seriously?

James Lars: What? Let's just see how this plays out.

(We go down into the dungeon. We stroll down the hallway as a door opens and out walks Danny Wheeler, Bert Macgregor right behind him.)

Bert: Listen, don't take what he said personally. You didn't know. The guy got his feelings hurt because we bumped into him. Whatever. You are his partner tonight, and tonight is critical. You do well tonight and I'm sure James and Jennifer will have no choice but to give you a spot in the Chaos Cage Match.

Danny Wheeler: Why do I get this feeling he's going to screw me over?

Bert: You're new here. That feeling is probably mutual by him as well.

(As they walk another door opens and out walks Wes Hartley. He almost bumps into them. He takes a step back and looks at the two men, unsure of what was going to happen.)

Wes Hartley: Danny and Bert right?

Bert: Yes.

Wes Hartley: I'm Wes. . . .

Bert: We know who you are. Listen, you and Danny are partners tonight. There is only one thing we ask of you. To go out there and put whatever issues you have with my client behind you and win this with Danny.

(Wes Hartley doesn't really know how to take this. Was it a threat or simply a request.)

Wes Hartley: I really have no issue. . Seems you and your client have an issue with me, shoulder bumping me and walking away like nothing happened.

Bert: No issues here, Danny simply.....

Danny Wheeler: Don't screw me over tonight. You do your job and I'll do mine. Got it?

Wes Hartley: Likewise.

(Wes Hartley holds out his hand to Danny Wheeler for a handshake asking for another friendly guesture from his partner. Danny looks at it and at first it seems he was just going to brush Wes off, but he shakes it while looking each other in the eyes and they quickly walk away.)

James Lars: Some tension from the two partners before the match even starts

Jennifer Lars: All over a handshake?

James Lars: I can see the misunderstanding. Everyone is new last Anarchy and unfamiliar with everyone. Danny and Bert may not have realized they bumped into him.

Jennifer Lars: How do you not know you ran into someone?

James Lars: I don't know. Who knows.

Jennifer Lars: Well the two need to work together to pull out the win against two men that are main eventors. Winning can excalate their status here.

(Dragon Soul By Vic Migonga plays over the sound system as Al Nova emerges from the left side wearing his white headband that flows as he walks out, coupled with a purple gi that is sleeveless. Al's hands are wrapped in white tape and he has on black wrestling boots.Al swings his fist up and thrusts it into the air where he holds it for a brief moment before he side steps down to the ring on the entrance ramp as lights flicker from dark to light purple, Al picks up speed and slides into the ringAl steps up from the ring mat and walks over to the nearby adjacent ring ropes which he climbs onto the second rope and once again thrusts his fist into the air before dismounting the ring ropes)

(The lights go out and "Enter Sandman" plays. Focus comes out and he slowly walks to the ring, turning every direction as if he's watching for something before he enters the ring.)

Al Nova and Focus both start out strong, running to the middle of the ring at the bell. Nova extends his arm for a clothesline, but Focus ducks. Focus keeps momentum, running and bouncing back off the ring ropes. As Focus reaches Nova, he jumps into the air and catches him with a hurricanranna. Focus jumps up and quickly measures before dropping a leg across Nova's wind-pipe.Focus starting to gain a rhythem, lifts Nova to his feet. Nova comes out of nowhere with a desperate arm drag takedown. Focus rotates his arm to loosen it up after that move, giving Al Nova the chance to nail him in the ribs and lock him up in a running bulldog. The bulldog drives Focus face first to the mat. After the impact, Focus rolls onto his back and is hit with a well timed senton-splash.Holding his ribs in pain, Focus begins rolling toward the ropes. Nova steps over Focus and grabs him by the hair, lifting him to his feet. Nova lifts for a scoop slam, but Focus shifts his weight and reverses it into a scoop slam of his own. Holding his back, Nova rolls onto his back as Focus takes a breath.Looking down, Focus lifts Al Nova up and whips him into the ropes. Rushing forward, Focus jumps into the air, planting a drop-kick across Al Nova's face. Wasting no time as Nova bounces off of the turnbuckle, Focus rolls him into a pinfall.-1-

-NOOOOOO-It was almost over but Al kicked out. Rolling back to their feet, Focus continues to rush Al Nova. Going for a running Cut Throat, Al Nova scouts it and blocks the chop with his hand. Throwing Focus's hand down, Al locks him in a belly to belly suplex, that sends Focus crashing on the mat back-first.Waiting for Focus to recover, Al is quick to grab him as he gets to his feet.

Al Nova: GOLDEN PLEX!!

Golden-Plex sends Focus back-first onto the canvas once more. Al Nova bridges upward with the pinfall combination.

-NOOOOO-At the last moment, Focus rolls a shoulder up from the mat. Al stands to his feet slowly, lifting Focus as he does. Focus is sent into the ropes. Al Nova extends his arm for a clothesline, which is scouted at the last second. Focus ducks the arm and spins around.CUT THROAT!Al Nova grabs at his windpipe as Focus locks Nova in a Golden-Plex of his own.-1-

-NOOOOOO-Al Nova somehow kicks out. Both men lay tired on the mat. As they both stand, they exchange blows for a moment. Focus comes out on top, staggering Nova before connecting a neck-breaker. Focus uses the ropes as a crutch to stand.Focus recovers and runs forward driving a knee into Al's rib-cage as he reaches all fours. Cupping his ribs, Al rests on his knees and this gives Focus enough time to run forward with a front kick to the side of Al Nova's cheek.Al Nova falls as Focus reaches down and lifts him to his feet. Al Nova pulls a cheap trick and low blows Focus, stopping him from lifting him any further. Al then locks Focus up by his head, dropping his crainium into the canvas with a DDT. Al goes up to the top turnbuckle.

Al Nova: ELBOW DROP OF DEATH!!!

He lands it and covers.

Cadon grabs the arm of Al Nova and raises it in victory.

James Lars: Al Nova wins his first match! And a match that sends him on to the Chaos Cage Match at Origins!

Jennifer Lars: He struggled a bit to pull out this victory though. Focus really brought it to him.

James Lars: But all that matters is he pulled it out.

Jennifer Lars: Do you see him as the face of the company?

James Lars: Do you?

Jennifer Lars: I asked you?

James Lars: Al Nova? Yes. I can easily see everyone as the Chaos Champion. It's just who wants it more.
